• Why Market to Women?

  Women influence 97% of buying decisions.

  It's true, whether it be consumer, personal, household or corporate, on average, women are influencing 97% of the buying decisions that are made.

  Even when a man is making a purchase for himself, he's been influenced by the women in his life. Men use the same detergent, mayonnaise, and other household items that their mothers use. They buy the clothes that their female friends tell them they look good in.

  Perhaps more importantly, they make decisions not to buy based on the approval of the women in their lives.

• Marketing to Women News

While researching today for my Why She Buys course, I came across this video.

A lot of women who focus on gender differences would be quite offended by this, and rightfully so, since the reason comedy works is it’s basis in truth… and men who are like this should be avoided at all costs.

However, I just found it amusing, and wanted to share with my readers.
