Is your marketing inspired?

While working on the Why She Buys project, I’ve had the opportunity to interview some amazing people. I don’t want to choose favorites, so let’s just say I really really liked the interview I did with Craig Perrine.
I was attracted to my good friend Craig because he has a light that shines directly from his big heart, and his latest project, a partnership with The Secret’s Joe Vitale, is the perfect manifestation of that light. It’s called
Inspired Marketing: The Astonishing Fun New Way to Create More Profits for Your Business by Following Your Heart
This book is about marketing with your heart first, then your head. It’s about about replacing marketing hype with true enthusiasm for your product or service and the benefits that it provides for your customers. Both might look the same on the surface, but like biting into processed cheese when you’re expecting real cheddar, the fake stuff doesn’t hold up.
So many of us operate a business because it makes money and feeds our bodies without feeding our soul. Inpsired marketing is about finding the crossroads between the two, and designing a busines in alignment with our life’s purpose. It’s about authenticity that starts from within… and shines outward enlightening your customers and associates.
And most importantly for our purposes, Inspired Marketing is effective, especially with women. Women, by their nature, are more tapped into their intuitive powers then are their male counterparts. They can sense when something is "just not right" about someone and their product or service. When you practice inspired marketing and your business is in alignment with your values and destiny, women will know it without being told. And "gut check" sales are the best kind for your business.
The book is being released today on Amazon, and with most Amazon releases, you can take advantage of a whole host of bonuses if you visit Craig and Joe’s website and buy the book today.

The 78 differences between men and women
Filed Under Humor | Leave a Comment
In mapping the human genome, scientists have found that there are 78 distinct genetic differences betwen men and women.
The BBC did an article where their readers submitted their suggestions about what some of those differences might be. Here are a few of my amusing favorites.
"Women can use sex to get what they want. Men cannot, as sex is what they want."
" Women have a built in calendar gene - we remember birthdays, anniversaries and appointments effortlessly."
" At weddings, women cry then get drunk. Men get drunk, then cry."
" Men need a round of applause for emptying the dishwasher. Women think E on the petrol gauge means enough."
As you can see, a lot of gender stereotyping going on here. But what I found interesting was, there was lots of "male bashing:" by women, and "women hating" by men… but there was also a lot of men making fun of men, and women making fun of women, and some people making fun of both genders in the article.
Finally, a group of people not taking gender differences too seriously.
